Great addition to a great scratching post
The size had me a little worried that my cat wouldn’t want to lay in it (she’s a 14 pound Maine coon mix), but she was up there immediately! It screws into the top, just like the original top piece so it is nice and stable; very easy to attach. I purchased it “used” so I couldn’t beat the cost, but I would buy it again at regular price. Great addition to a great scratching post!

A must for multi use scratching post
This is the second one we have bought (for two houses) and it is a hit with our cat. The goal was to buy a tall and sturdy scratching post for our big kitty boy, but we decided to try to perch, too. He LOVES it. One of his many favorite nap spots.

MY CATS NEW HOME
My cats new home. I would buy the post also because they go together somehow. It was very difficult to attach this to my existing post. Really difficult because of the fabric and upholstery twisting into the screws. I PUT THIS BY MY OFFICE TYPE CHAIR. SHE LEAPS UP TO THE PERCH FROM THE CHAIR ARM.
